The late James B S Curr; William and Mary Armour were great supporters of the Institute.

In recognition of their contribution to the Institute two unique pieces of silverware have been commissioned. Designed by Artist Jeweller Sheana Stephen DA they will be presented at the Artist Private View on 2nd May.

The 2008 Annual Exhibition then opens to the public on the 3rd May and will run until 31st May.


The Institute is also delighted to announce two new awards The Glasgow Art Club Fellowship Award. There is no age restriction for this award. The winner will receive two years membership of The Glasgow Art Club and an opportunity to exhibit in the Art Club at a date to be decided between the artist and the Club.


We are also delighted to announce a new award "The House For an Art Lover" It is 70 years since the British Empire Exhibition in Bellahouston Park.
The House For An Lover have introduced a new award which will be given annually at the PAI Exhibition.

The winner of The House For An Art Lover Award receives £1,000 and an opportunity to exhibit at a later date.
